Martyn Morgan

POSITION
Martyn Morgan is a Partner and operates out of our premises in Market Street, Stourbridge. He specialises in Domestic Conveyancing and also deals with some commercial work.

Martyn is also a member of the Strategic Management Team that is responsible for the operation, the development and direction of the Practice.

CAREER
Martyn was articled to Bryan Evers of Harward and Evers, a long-established family practice in Stourbridge, where he served as Articled Clerk, Assistant Solicitor and a Partner, before spending 18 months in Europe and, in particular, France where he assisted British buyers in the French property market. Martyn returned to England in 1991 and, with Derek Simmonds, acquired the practice of Talbot and Talbot in Kidderminster and the branch office of Tandy Wickstead in Stourbridge to create the present day Talbots. Martyn also served as clerk to the Governors of his old school, King Edward V1 College Stourbridge, for 9 years and sits as a Trustee on 2 charitable foundations

EDUCATION
Having obtained GCSE O and A level education at King Edward V1 School Stourbridge, Martyn attended College of Law in Guildford and Chester before qualifying as a solicitor shortly after his 22nd birthday

LEISURE
Martyn enjoys most sports, but his main enjoyment is divided between watching his favourite team, Aston Villa, and playing both 5 a side and 11 a side football. He also enjoys travel and good food and wine.

Martyn ran his first marathon in New York in 1999, in a highly creditable time of 3 hours 42 minutes, but, more importantly, with great support from family, friends, staff and clients, raised a massive £15,000 sponsorship money for the Charity "Get Kids Going" which specialises in Sports Mobility Appliances for disabled children
