Having finished 2nd in the Birmingham Works Netball League Division 3 in their inaugural year, the Talbots netball team is looking forward to the new season which opens with a game against Hays on 10th October.
Newly promoted to Division 2, New strips have been obtained and the squad has been training hard (not). Their progress in this year’s competition can be followed on the BWNL website (www.birmingham-netball.co.uk) and we hope to publish highlights on this page as the season progresses.
Michelle Whittingham, one of the Team’s Captains (there are several …) said “We were very satisfied with our result last year, especially given a spate of injuries towards the end of the season. We are really excited at the prospect of the new season and the new league and, after our success last year, we have a lot to live up to this year!”
